Today was a very special day for our family. B was baptized a member of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints"! She has been waiting for this day for a long time. She got a little nervous towards the end, because everyone will be watching "her". She also hoped that daddy wouldn't hold her down long, like he did to brother. I'm so very proud of her and her special spirit. She did so good. We had some special friends come to watch her and I hope they enjoyed it. It is also her birthday today so she was extra excited about it. Happy 8th Birthday!!! We Love you!!

After Brittney's baptism we had family come over for lunch and birthday party. She had a great time! It was fun to play with cousins and eat cake. It was such a nice day. Thanks to everyone that helped us celebrate this special day. Happy Birthday!!!!

Congratulations R !!!! We are so proud of you and your hard work. He recieved the Character Counts Award for Respect. He teacher said, "I appreciate the way you participate throughout thr day. You always do your best work, look for ways to help and you're a TERRIFIC friend to your classmates!" It was very nice.

The Tooth Fairy came to K's preschool today. They were in awe when she walked in, she looked like she was 7 feet tall. She was beautiful in her blue dress and she had magic fairy dust to make her small and fly. (only when kids are asleep) They learned about cleaning their teeth and eating healthy foods and drinks. It was a very fun day!

We surprised B tonight and went out to CPK at The Fountains and then to the mall. We went to Claire's and got her ears pierced. She's wanted to get them done for a long time and I told her when she was 8. She had in her mind, next week, when it's her birthday. So she was a little shocked that we were doing it already. She wasn't mentally prepared yet. It took her a few minutes to think about and the girl(Nicole) was really nice and explained everything to her. She was so brave. She didn't even cry. She held my hand real tight. She chose cute daisy earrings. They look adorable on her. I hope she has a wonderful birthday next week and that she enjoys her early gift.

Crazy Hair Day!

The kids had crazy hair day at school today. B wanted blue on the scalp and green on the pony tails. R wanted green and silver(Army colors), but the silver looked more like glitter. Oh well. Way to go, school spirit!

Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentines Day! We had a nice day. Todd bought me tulips, a balloon and a very sweet card. K made lots of pretty hearts at preschool. When we picked her up, all the kids were wearing their big heart. It says they are "my Valentine" It was so cute!! R made me a conversation heart wreath. He did a great job! For dinner, we went to Leatherby's with Todd's parents(their anniversary) and his sister and her husband. The ice cream was yummy as usual. I hope everyone had a wonderful day.

K had her Valentine's Party at preschool today. She had a lot of fun! They enjoyed passing out their valentines and eating lots of goodies. She has such great friends in her class. She had a little attitude problem at the end. A long week for her.

We surprised R with a trip to Arizona. He was so excited!! R and I flew to Phoenix to visit my brother and his family. They were blessing their new baby and their oldest was receiving the Aaronic Priesthood. He enjoyed every minute of boy cousin time. They played their DS's a lot and linked them together so they could play games together. It rained while we were there so it was cool. The boys went to see a movie "Pink Panther 2" for Brandon's birthday. It was great to see a lot of cousins who live there. We don't see each other enough.

I got to visit with one of my mission companions, it was very nice to see her again. We went out to dinner to Chili's and talked. It was fun to have girl time. Todd stayed home with the girls and they enjoyed "daddy" time. I think he survived, not sure if the house did. We basically passed each other at the airport, coming and going. He returned from a trip on Thursday, just in time to take us to the airport. Then on Monday morning, he meet us at the airport as he was leaving for another trip(back to Phoenix). We miss him.
