K had a fun time at preschool today! They each made a spring hat for an Easter parade. She made her hat with flowers. (We originally made them with fresh flowers we found at the park, but by the time I went to bed the flowers wilted. So I quickly glued on silk flowers.) She was happy in the morning. They went on a parade to the Kindergarten classes to show off their hats. It was so cute! Then they had an egg hunt. At the end they went to the park for snack and play time.

K turned 5 today and we got to celebrate with her cousins the other day. She had a lot of fun! She shares her birthday with her cousin, Carter, he turned 4. Aunt Alyson made this beautiful purse cake for her. She's taken a couple classes at Michael's and she's very talented. K LOVED it!!!

Today is Kimberly's 5th birthday and she got to celebrate it at preschool today. She had so much fun. We brought apples, grapes and cupcakes. She loved wearing the birthday hat. We came home and had lunch and while she was eating her tortilla she took a bite and then noticed that it looked like a heart. So, we had to take a picture of it. She was proud! Happy Birthday my little girl, who's not so little anymore. Can't believe my baby is 5 and going to Kindergarten soon.

B is finally loosing her teeth. It's about time. Now she hardly has any left. It's hard to eat. Hopefully the new ones will come in quickly and straight!

State Capitol

I got to go with the 4th graders to the State Capitol today. It was a lot of fun!! We left this morning on the bus and then spent several hours touring the inside. We had to answer lots of questions along the way. We went down the wrong hall way and a gentlemen took us on a special tour to see where the local Representatives meet. It was a nice day to spend with Ryan. We even got to eat lunch out on the lawn.

B and I went to a Brownie(girl scout) mother/daughter camp out. It was so much fun!! We enjoyed the weekend with our friends and made lots of cute crafts. They had delicious food and lots of fun activities to do together. We are in a cabin that has 98 beds(bunks) upstairs and down stairs is the mess hall. We enjoyed a camp fire and skits at night and s'mores! Thanks Todd for taking care of the other two kids(baseball pictures & game, birthday parties, etc.) so I could get away with the big/little girls. Looking forward to next year!!!
