R-Clone Trooper, K-Puppy Sitter, B-Witch
Cousins all dressed up
Our trick or treating gang
R with his friends "3 clone troopers"
We had a lot of fun again at our house this year. My sisters and their kids came and went trick or treating with us. We ate dinner and visited with my parents. Todd worked on the decorations out front and they turned out great! We forgot to take a picture, I'm so sad. He did a lot of work on it. We had a very fun evening, and got sprinkled on at the end. It poured later on in the evening. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Coyote of the Month
B with her friend when her name was called.
B with Mr. Clark
B with the other students from her class.
B received Coyote of the Month at school today. She is the first student to get one from her "new" teacher. I thought that was neat! She is so shy and embarrassed to walk in front of people. I'm so proud of her to get up when her name was called. Way to go!!!

Preschool Halloween party
K "puppy sitter" costume
K preschool class
K pouting!!
I went to help in K preschool class this morning. They had a Halloween party. They took a picture of everyone, read a spooky story "Skeleton Hiccups" Love that story! and then they went around the room to different booths for games. (Ring toss, bean bag toss, bingo, and coloring) They all had a great time, except for mine! She through a tantrum and it went down from there. If someones asks her a questions, or someone doesn't sit by her, sets it off. It can be frustrating. Then they had snack time and she wanted to sit by a certain person, but it was taken and she pouted more. So, I sat with her off in a corner by ourselves. This was supposed to be a fun party, I just don't know some days. She is so different than my others. I wonder if I'm not there if she'd do better. I'm so ready for this phase to be over!!!

NO more braces!!!
R with his first retainer. 1/07
R with his braces. 9/07
No peeking!!!!
R got his first adjustable retainer in January 2007. He had it until September 2007 when he out grew it and then he got his first phase of braces(only on the top). It is amazing how fast the mouth and teeth move. I thought it would take a lot longer. He had his braces a little longer than a year. So now we are back to a retainer, just to keep the teeth in place until the permanent teeth come in. It's a different retainer, thicker up top. So he is learning to talk again. Also, he can't eat with it in like his other retainer. So, he has a case to bring to school with him when he has lunch. I told him about being responsible with it and not lose it. When I was in elementary school, my friend had a retainer and she lost it. She put it in a napkin during lunch and threw it away. She was crying, so I helped her go through all the garbage bags looking for it. (Gross!) We found it. The orthodontist thinks he'll only have this retainer for a few months until the new teeth come in. Then they will re-evaluate his mouth and see if he needs a full set of braces or not. Look at his SMILE! 10/08

Apple Hill trip
We went to Apple Hill this weekend and had a fun time. We each got a piece of fudge from the fudge factory. The girls rode on the ponies. We looked at all the crafts. Tasted apple cider. The kids took pictures in the pumpkin patch. The kids each bought a gift.(rubber band gun, teddy bear that smells like lavender and an apple note book) It was a nice day, lots of traffic. I even bought an apple pie, yummy!

October crafts
I've made a couple crafts this month, thought I'd share. I made a BOO cone, to give to a neighbor. I also made a leaf card, that I gave a friend for her birthday. Every Monday night Green Tangerines has a Make-n-Take class. It's fun to learn new skills and make a cute craft. Thanks Raimi!

Cute girls
K and I were at Target and she saw this cute outfit. She wanted to get one for her and one for her best friend. She told her friend to wear it to preschool today. They looked so cute together. Her mom brought a camera and took these pictures. Thanks!

Walk Through California
Ryan
Flags
Puzzle of California
Ryan doing his presentation.
R's class had a presentation today, "Walk through CA". It was 2 & 1/2 hours long. It was a lot of fun! Each child had a part that they memorized. R's was on erosion. She talked about all the different things we have here in CA and when she mentioned their topic they got up and were the "expert" on the subject. They all did a great job! At the end they each took a piece of the puzzle and built the CA map. She made learning so fun!

Pumpkin Patch
A & K waiting for the train.
K & A driving the school bus.
K's preschool class.
K with her pumpkin.
A & K on the hay ride.
We went to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm today with K's preschool class. We had a lot of fun! We rode up with our best friends. It was a little chilly, it felt like Fall. It was so nice. The kids had a great time. They gave us apple cider at snack time, it was delicious. We rode the train(K's favorite part) around the field and looked at all the scarecrows. We watched a pig race too. I had a tri-tip sandwich, so juicy. I bought a french apple pie when we were leaving, it was so good! The other kids want to go to a pumpkin patch too. We'll probably go as a family next week.
