Rusty was out back enjoying the sun, there have been so many cool days. He was so cute! Then I looked out later and he was waiting by the door. The song "Oh, how much is the doggy in the window" came to my mind, so funny!
Todd got his telescope out tonight and we were looking at the moon. It was so beautiful! He wanted to see if the camera could take a picture through the lens. Well, sure enough it could. Wow!!
Kimberly is swimming really good now. She is enjoying her swim lessons this season. They do horse races on noodles and she wins most of the races! She received another report card and lollipop today. She can't wait for summer to be here so she can swim in our pool. She may do one more year, just to learn some more skills. Yeah to all 3 of my swimmers!!
Kimberly did an expert bug report for Kindergarten. She choose the pink spotted lady beetle "ladybug". She had fun drawing pictures and writing about the things she learned. She also wanted me to braid her hair(in lots of little ones) so it would be wavy when she went to school. She was so cute!!
Happy Mother's Day out there to all the wonderful moms in my life! I had a very nice day. I received a beautiful plant and cards from my family. We bought some pretty flowers and pots for our moms and grandma. I enjoyed the song the kids sang at church, made me cry. We also had new ward boundaries done, so lots of new faces at church. It will be fun to get to know them all. After church we visited with our moms and grandma. We love you all!
Kimberly and her friend Alison went to a girl scout event tonight, "Daisy Twilight Camp". They had so much fun!! They did a great job planning and organizing it. They went on a nature walk, made flower bracelets, learned about conserving water, made cute bandannas out of old sheets and had yummy smores out of girl scout cookies. Yummy!! It was a very fun night!
We finally updated the game room. We got new couches and a BIG bookcase. The old couches were probably from the late 80's. Todd had them before I meet him('95). The new ones are so nice!! When we were buying the couches the bookcase was on sale. We have always loved it, so we splurged. It's a Harry Potter bookcase, minus the hidden door. The kids love the ladder! We also got the World book collection and the Childcraft.
