Kimberly's Gymnastics performance

K doing her floor routine.

K on the balance beam.

K on the uneven bars.

K receiving her medal.

She was so proud of herself.

Yesterday, we watched K do her summer Olympics performance at gymnastics. She was nervous, because she just moved to this class and only practiced the routine last week. She did a great job!! She was happy to receive her medal. Congratulations!

Kids pictures

KIMBERLY (5)

BRITTNEY (8)

RYAN (10)

I took the kids to Target for their yearly pictures. The school pictures are getting too expensive and not as fun. They all turned out so cute. Can't beat the prices. They are all growing up so fast, it's not fair. I remember Ryan being born, like it was yesterday. I can't believe he will be a 5th grader. Brittney will be a 3rd grader and my little Kimberly(not so little anymore) will be going to Kindergarten. She is so excited!! We only have one more week of summer break, wow!

Fun pictures

Here are some more pictures of the kids. They are all so cute!

Cleaning house

What a busy week of cleaning and organizing the whole house. Todd has been putting up more shelves in each room, it's so nice! A couple more to go(my office closet still). We have moved all the toys to one room, "The Play Room". The girls are having so much fun playing in there and messing it up again. The boys love, "The Game Room" with the pool table and TV. It's so relaxing to walk in there without any toys. We just need to get a new couch in there, the old "bachelor" ones are shot. It's been nice having Todd in town more, WebExing and conference calls are great!! I'll post pictures soon.

New Desk

We drove up to Auburn today and picked up a desk we found on Craig's list. R wants a desk in his room to do homework. It will be quieter in there and away from the girls. It fits perfect in there. Hopefully that will help with having a better attitude this year. Good luck in 5th grade!

First game, R's team won!!

R with his cousin, lasers ready!

Mom had high score for Red Team!!!

Todd and Lisa on "Yellow Team" for final game.

Scores for last game.

R with his favorite gift, "Legos"!!

R blowing out his candles.

R celebrated his half birthday today, at Lasertag of Carmichael. He wanted his cousins from AZ to come, so we planned it while they were here. Since his birthday is Dec. 26, it's hard to plan parties. We like to do half birthdays sometimes. He loves laser tag, so we looked around for a good location. This place was great!! It's 2 stories and we had the place to ourselves. We played 3 games and it was a blast! He didn't want his mom to play, but I showed him up and won a game. It was a work out, I was sweating. We hope you had a great day!! I can't believe he is growing up so fast and is almost a 5th grader. Wow!!

Jump Sky High

K jumping!!

B jumping with her cousin.

R jumping and playing dodge ball.

All the cousins!!

We went to Jump Sky High in Rancho Cordova this morning with the cousins. There were 24 of us, with my sisters and their kids, 2 SIL and their kids and their family too. We had so much fun! We were able to have our own trampoline area to ourselves, since we had so many. We jumped(yes, even the moms) for an hour, Wow what a work out. The kids really enjoyed doing tricks and playing dodge ball.

P.S. Mom Hanson finally came home from the hospital today. We are so glad she is doing better.

4th of July!!

B doing sparklers(her eyes are red from swimming all day)

Todd and K waiting for fireworks to start.

K with her glow stick.

R doing snaps!

cutie!!

Happy 4th of July!!! We love this holiday. It's a great day for our country and so many great family traditions and memories! We took it easy at home in the morning, I made cinnamon pull-aparts. We stopped by the hospital to visit Todd's mom, whose been in since Thursday night(pneumonia). She would rather be at home, especially since it's a holiday. We were hoping she would come home today. The doctor hopes she continues to do well and she might come home tomorrow. We miss you! Then we went over to my parents house for swimming, sno-cones, BBQ, visiting with family(we had 69 people there) and fireworks. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. B hung out with the girls and swam All day, K played with the younger cousins and swam off and on, R played with the boys(computers, XBOX, DS) and swam a little. I watched kids swim and visited with cousins too. There were a lot of great fireworks this year, with so many people. It was a fun day!!
