Todd flying by in his airplane.
Heading back to the hanger.
Todd decided to fly over the house to show us his airplane. It was fun to watch. He had a good time. I was surprised how well the pictures turned out. My man and his hobbies.

Flu
Well, we were struck with the flu this week. It is no fun. I got a call from the school on Thursday and B had thrown up in class. Luckily she made it to the sink. Poor girl, that's so embarrassing. She was sick for most of that day. She slept all night thank goodness. She ate a little in the morning and laid around the rest of the day. I was glad it didn't last long. I thought she was doing pretty well, so I went to scrappy hour last night.
Shortly after I was home, K came in our room and climbed in our bed. After a few minutes, she said my tummy doesn't feel good, sat up and threw up in our bed. I couldn't believe it. Todd left the room and never came back, he doesn't like the flu. I was tired (1:30am), washing laundry and taking her to the bathroom every 30 minutes. It was a very long night. She finally fell asleep when it was morning, so we slept longer. I got a shower around lunch time. Poor little girl, she looks so weak. She keeps saying, "I'll try again" and goes to the bathroom. I think she's afraid of dirtying my bed again. I'm supposed to teach my lesson in RS tomorrow, I hope I don't get sick. I'm trying to clean everything and wipe down handles and faucets. I don't want anyone else sick. This is 2 years in a row for flu in January. Flu shots next year!

Scrappy Hour!!
I went to Scrappy Hour with some friends at Green Tangerines tonight. It was a lot of fun!! We went about 5pm; scrapbooked, ate dinner, had yummy dessert, visited and visited some more. I worked on these snow layouts (still need to journal), started a couple more and worked on Brittney's baptism invitations. They are turning out so cute! Thanks for a fun evening everyone and thanks Raimi for inviting us!

Root beer
Ben Bridge Jewelry Cleaner
Orange Juice
I have cups all over my kitchen. R is working on his Science Fair Project. He is testing to see which liquid cleans a penny best. He is using 10 different liquids. He's enjoying watching the changes they make each day. The are having their science fair in March.

I went Paragliding!
I went Paragliding with Todd today for the first time. We were out at the field by the casino. The kids have gone with him before, but I finally went. It was fun! I'm definitely more conservative, but it was neat to be flying and see the sights. Thanks hunny for a fun evening!

Silly Dog
Rusty loves to chew and eat about anything. He is eating a paper towel roll. He also, eats holes in his blankets all the time. If the kids leave their socks out he tries to eat them and toys. I'll be glad if this stage ever ends.

Lost tooth!
B lost her 3rd tooth on New Years Eve, finally. She has several that are loose, they just never want to come out. The tooth fairy was very busy so she had to wait 2 days.

Nine in '09
I got this idea from a sister I served with on my mission. Thanks Angie!
She challenged everyone to accomplish 9 things in 2009. They can be big things, small things, fun things, frivolous things or serious things. Just things that when you read this a year from now you can say, "I did that and I'm glad I did!"
If you'd like to join me, I'd love to read them.
1. Of course, exercise and loose some weight. I've been saying that since I had "K"(almost 5 years ago!!) This will be my year! Depending on the day, I will either get up early or after I put the kids down, get on the treadmill and run!! Also, I loved aerobics in college, so I'd like to do that again. Either watch a DVD or join a class.
2. Read my scriptures daily And as a family. Also, have family prayer together at night. I want my kids to have that in their daily life. The scriptures have so many answers in them. This will be my spiritual growth year!
3. Go on regular dates with Todd. Actually plan them and get a sitter. Put it on the calendar so it happens! Since he travels so much, it can be hard.
4. Use a quieter voice at home and with my kids. I don't like all the yelling, so I'll be the example first for my kids. The still small voice. We are working on respect too!
5. Go to the Temple monthly; by myself, with Todd, with friends or with the ward. I love the spirit there and the things I learn.
6. I want to get my house organized and cleaned!! There are so many papers everywhere, I need to find a system. Everything needs a home. Get rid of things we haven't used in a couple years. Give to others who are less fortunate. Our friends Amy & Pete inspired Todd & I, thanks!!(Gorgeous home)
7. Walk my dog, Rusty, daily(at least 5 days). We both can use it! If you see me, wave!
8. Set time aside for Me. I really need to get caught up on my scrapbooks. I love and enjoy doing it. Scrappy Hour!! Also, I love reading now, thanks Stephenie Meyer; you are a great author. Lots of great books out there to read and fill my mind. If you have any favorites let me know. Girls Nights Out are a must too! I need to schedule my time or it will get away from me. An hour here or an hour there.
9. Learn to say, NO! I can't do everything. Todd's biggest pet-peeve. I just love to help people, so it's hard. I need to learn balance. There's a time and season for everything.

Cute video!!
How to get a SOCCER partner? (click the link)
My friend had this on her blog and I just loved it. We are huge soccer fans. R would have done this when he was little, he really wanted a little brother. Oh well, 2 sisters!
