Coyote of the Month!

Brittney received the "Coyote of the Month" award at school today! She was so excited! She has a wonderful teacher (Mrs. Boelens)and this has been her best year yet!
Wow, I couldn't believe all the wonderful things her teacher had to say about her. Here's a small sample. "You are a talented student who excels in 3rd grade. You put 110% in everything you do. You are an exemplary role model for your peers. I could give you the "Character Counts" award each month. Anyone who you consider to be a friend is lucky to have you in their life. If I were in 3rd grade, I would most certainly want to be one of them! I hope you know what an amazing person you are. One day you are going to do something super special in life and truly make a difference in this world." Wow!! She made me cry!
Congratulations B, you so deserve it!

Girls

The girls were very busy today, being creative. I snapped a few photos of their work. The had fun making things with the play dough we made, drawing a map of a house (7 stories tall) on their white board and playing with the Polly pockets and littlest pet shop. Cute!!

Valentine's Dinner

Todd surprised us with dinner tonight at home. He dressed up and everything!! The kids loved it! He had gone to a Brazilian Steakhouse on a work trip and they had these circle discs on the table. If you wanted more food you had the green side up and no more food the red side up. So we got to use them for dinner and he would know if we needed something. Thanks for a fun night!! We love you!

My New Adventure

Kylee sitting in the toy bucket.

Well, I started a new adventure today. This sweet little girl is Kylee, she's 13 months old and walking. My neighbors adopted her in December, from China. They've been waiting for a little one for years. Her mom is going back to work, so I'm going to be watching her 3 days a week. They are very excited to have her close by and not have to drive to pick her up. I'm glad to be making some extra money to help pay the bills. She is a sweetheart and loves to play with the kids. Rusty(dog) is already protective of her too! I hope the transition will go well for the both of us.
