Well, the last day is finally here, we can't believe it! This year has flown by. Ryan is so excited about going on to Middle School!! Brittney is so sad to be leaving the BEST teacher ever, she did not want the year to end! Kimberly has mixed emotions about moving up to 1st grade. It will be a long day for her, but she is excited to eat lunch in MP room and play at the big playground. The Kindergartners sang a song for everyone at the assembly. Kimberly's class was in the back, so we couldn't see her. It was cute!

Ryan's Speech
All the students(700+) at school wrote a letter to the principal about their favorite part of the year. The 5th graders wrote their favorite memory from their school years there. Ryan wrote about 1st grade and was chosen by his teacher to read it at the assembly. He was a little nervous the night before, about speaking in front of the entire school. I told him he would do great! He talked about how great his teacher(Mrs.Geissberger) was. She always had a smile on her face and greeted everyone warmly and with love. She still talks to him today and tries to help him out. She offered help during his state report, but he was doing ok. She is the BEST! He loved 1st grade and I hope Kimberly does too! (we hope she gets Mrs. G, too!)

Fly up to 6th Grade!
After the assembly, all the teachers got together and made a tunnel. They had all the 5th graders run through it and fly up to 6th grade! It was so cool! His good friends Alex & Brendan were right before him. Good luck in 6th grade!! Congratulations on straight A's!!

Kindergarten picnic at the park
Kimberly had such a great time at the last day of school picnic. All the Kindergarten classes went to the park to play, say goodbyes, sign year books and eat cupcakes. She loved the swings. She didn't want to say goodbye to her long-term sub, Ms.Ries. She wasn't happy about getting one, but at the end, was sad to say goodbye to her!! She hopes to be in class with her best friend Ali, next year. She is excited for 1st grade!!

Rusty
Rusty was out back enjoying the sun, there have been so many cool days. He was so cute! Then I looked out later and he was waiting by the door. The song "Oh, how much is the doggy in the window" came to my mind, so funny!

The Moon
Todd got his telescope out tonight and we were looking at the moon. It was so beautiful! He wanted to see if the camera could take a picture through the lens. Well, sure enough it could. Wow!!

Swim lessons
Kimberly is swimming really good now. She is enjoying her swim lessons this season. They do horse races on noodles and she wins most of the races! She received another report card and lollipop today. She can't wait for summer to be here so she can swim in our pool. She may do one more year, just to learn some more skills. Yeah to all 3 of my swimmers!!

Bug Report
Kimberly did an expert bug report for Kindergarten. She choose the pink spotted lady beetle "ladybug". She had fun drawing pictures and writing about the things she learned. She also wanted me to braid her hair(in lots of little ones) so it would be wavy when she went to school. She was so cute!!

Mothers Day
Happy Mother's Day out there to all the wonderful moms in my life! I had a very nice day. I received a beautiful plant and cards from my family. We bought some pretty flowers and pots for our moms and grandma. I enjoyed the song the kids sang at church, made me cry. We also had new ward boundaries done, so lots of new faces at church. It will be fun to get to know them all. After church we visited with our moms and grandma. We love you all!
