Polar Express Train

We went to Old Sacramento tonight and rode on the Polar Express Train. It was a magical evening for all. We were invited to go with my sister and her family. Her son C is in LOVE with trains and he had such a great time. We also invited our friends, the Flores family to come too. The kids had so much fun! They wore their PJ's, I bought my kids new ones for Christmas, so they got them early. We got hot cocoa and cookies and they read the story "Polar Express" to us. We stopped at the "North Pole" and Santa was waiting for us. He came onto the train and gave each child a bell and asked if they "Believe". The kids eyes were like silver dollars and they all said, "We Believe". We wore Santa hats to add to the spirit. Brittney was invited by a band to help play a wooden toy and our friends boys were asked to play instruments. It was very cute! It was a very chilly night. On our way home, we went to see some Christmas lights off 54th(?)St. in Sacramento. We parked the car and walked around, it was neat to see the neighborhood all decorated. They had candy cane arches for you to walk through all down the street. The kids loved it! Thanks for a memorable evening.
